RHEMA FOR LIVING OFM, DAILY DEVOTIONAL GUIDE FROM THE DESK OF GOD’S ORACLE APOSTLE JOHNSON SULEMAN.

SATURDAY, 1ST FEBRUARY 2020.

BIBLE READING: ACTS 1-2.

TOPIC: COUNSEL FOR WAR (PART 4).

TEXT: “This day will the Lord deliver thee into mine hand; and I will smite thee, and take thine head from thee; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel. And all this assembly shall know that the Lord saveth not with sword and spear: for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:46-47.

Victory in the battles of life is not determined at the end of the battles, but before the battles begin.
If you want to win every battle you fight, you must predict the victory at the beginning of the battle. David predicted his victory over Goliath and his declarations came to pass. Words are powerful, what you see determines what you say. You have got to align your declaration with your expectation because God confirms the words of His servants and performs the counsel of His messengers (Isaiah 44:26).
During my first degree, a certain lecturer was antagonistic towards the Gospel and I was the only Christian student in my class who stood up to him. Consequently, he sent me out of the class prior to delivering his lectures. I then, purposed in my heart, to be the best student in that course. I predicted my victory, gathered all the necessary materials and studied very hard. On the day of the examination, I was done answering all the questions in twenty minutes. Then, the examiner in surprise, sent for the course lecturer. Upon seeing me, he laughed, telling me that I had failed woefully but after thoroughly reading my script, he angrily asked everyone to submit in embarrassment. Therefore, child of God, predict your victory. Refuse to go in to any battle, confused.

PRAYER:
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, I will not suffer defeat anymore.

Don’t be content. Don’t be satisfied. Stay hungry. Stay ambitious. Stay striving. Stay succeeding...
