BIBLE READING: MORNING: EZEKIEL 36,37. EVENING: 1 PETER 3.
TOPIC: GOD WORKS MIRACLES
TEXT: “He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.” Daniel 6:27.
A miracle occurs when God steps into earthly circumstances to reverse a natural occurrence by His supernatural power. When this happens, people call it different names. We refer to it as the wonder of God, something that defies human explanation. Pharaoh’s magicians called it “the finger of God”. A miracle is a gracious act of God. The king of the kingdom usually does miracles to confound the wise and the mighty in this world, particularly to reverse evil machinations.
The Bible referred to Moses as a special child. God preserved him through His miracle when other Hebrew male children of his age were being killed by Pharaoh’s command. God suspended the law of Pharaoh for Moses’ sake. God suspended the natural order of day and night for His children against the Amalekites. (Joshua 10:12-13)
The children of Israel crossed the Red Sea miraculously. He did the same miracles at Jordan River. God miraculously brought down the wall of Jericho that took several years to be built and was very strong.
God’s miracles of healing, deliverance etc are unaccountable. The miracles of God are inexhaustible. God’s miracles are meant for every citizen of the kingdom. Your own miracle will hit you in Jesus name.
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, O’ Lord, give me a miracle…
