BIBLE READING: MORNING: EZEKIEL 34,35. EVENING: 1 PETER 2
TOPIC: GOD CHANGES TIME AND SEASONS (PART 2)
TEXT: “And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding.” Daniel 2:21
Child of God, there are no drylands where God is, only dry men exist. He proved to us through Isaac’s breakthrough (in Genesis 26:17-25) that places do not make people, rather it is people who make places with God on their side.
God created streams in the desert and made a pool of water (Isaiah 35:6).
Elijah ate bread baked in God’s oven and fried meat from the Lord’s kitchen for many days while he was in the desert. The same God is still at work. One reason why you should leave the past behind is that God is not tied to the past. He has the power to change a person’s story to glory. Do not stay behind in “yesterday”. Let the past rest.
God is able at all times. God who made others laugh will grant you reasons to also rejoice no matter the challenges you are going through at the moment. He showed up for the three Hebrew boys (Daniel 3), He showed up for Daniel in the lion’s den (Daniel 6) and made each one of them relevant and a voice in their land of captivity. Can you explain that?
Maybe you think the enemy has gotten you already, perhaps you have lost every single hope of having a great future, so long as you do not give up on him, be assured that your times and seasons will change for good.
My Father, My Father, as I begin to pray, arise for me and change my times and seasons for good…
